2人は向かい合って鏡をのぞき込み、銅板を挟んで手を合わせる。
観察者は引き裂かれた視覚の中で合わせられた手を見ることになるが、それを統合しようとするうちに向かい合ったもう1人と混ざり合っていく。

This equipment functions with two observers.
The two look into mirrors and put their hands together which puts a copper plate between it. The observers can now see joined hands in teared off sight, then, each of them is mixed with the other one while they try to integrate their sight.
